《云说》是作者的絮语书。絮语的缘起是为写作二十年所作的纪念，叙说的是一段段感性的心情纪事。散文是荆云多年来持续经营的文体，用生活经历和所思所感镌刻出的字字句句， 都是诚意之作，希望给予读者中的知音最贴心的分享。书写是不断地诉说，二十年仿佛只是起点，《云说》是荆云要说的， 在这里诚心道来，接下去依旧继续进行。
荆云，新加坡人，祖籍福建，1979年生。国立台湾大学中国文学研究所毕业，曾担任中学华文教师、教育部课程规划员和双语编辑。坚信文学的阅读与散文的写作是令人振奋的生命旅程，苦乐都是收获。无论如何， 都要坚持写作，躬耕灵魂那亩柔软的感性之田。

曾出版散文集《1397》和“联合早报•四面八方”专栏结集《凝思岛》。有部落格『两只脚走的猫』和脸书阅读分享专页『集体众读』。
