馬爾科·赫斯基1988年出生於克羅地亞的首都薩格勒布。他初中時拍攝了三部業餘電影作品，並在韋利·羅·居的第一場業餘電影節展出。2015年從斯洛文尼亞多巴學院經濟系畢業。
他從高中開始寫詩，第一本詩集於2011年出版，其中收錄了各種主題的詩歌，每個主題都傳達出某種信息。其詩歌特點爲簡明易懂、真誠深刻、發人深省。近年出版的新詩集反映了他自2011年以來的詩歌創作歷程。他的詩作聚焦於卑微的人們，以及活在此世的種種艱辛。
