《四明十義書》云：荊谿立於無情有性，正為顯圓妄染即佛性，旁遮偏指清淨真如。

據此，則四明已斷盡《金錍》述作之意。

故此文首，於題下先示抉膜之旨，後於偏權疑碎而下，方示旁遮野客之意。

又濫霑釋典下，亦先明佛性正義，自曾於靜夜下，方對野客耳。

以此則知一書始末，正為顯圓妄染即佛性義。

剛之一字，乃旁遮野客之偏執，使山家學大乘者毋惑於彼無情無性之見，而失遍具之旨，故於性中點示體遍也。

《金剛錍》圓∴金錍，以抉四眼無明之膜，令一切處悉見遮那佛性之指，偏權疑碎，加之以剛。
