何士骥（1895—1984），字乐夫，浙江诸暨人，考古学家、文字学家、历史学家，主要从事金石文字的整理与研究。曾任北平研究院史学研究会助理员，并任教于西北联合大学、西北师范学院、兰州大学等校。新中国成立后，任甘肃省博物馆馆长，领导、组织甘肃省文物古迹的调查、发掘与保护工作，并致力于通过文字、文献与文物研究相结合来重构中国古代文化史，对我国西北地区的文教发展、历史研究、考古与博物馆工作做出了重要贡献。本书对何士骥先生的生平经历与学术成就进行了梳理，并选编了先生在考古学、金石学、文字学、历史学等方面的多篇研究文论。
